The light comes with a universal splice so that it can be adapted to plug in worldwide. I use and old computer cord or extension cord. Cut off the female end, strip the outer cover 1" back and then strip the wires 1/2" back, lift the tabs on the open end of the adapter and then insert the wires as shown in the picture.
